New York Times: Bloom Is Off ‘Daisies,’ as ABC Shuffles Its Schedule

ABC has performed an extreme makeover on its prime-time schedule, telling producers of three struggling shows that it will not be ordering new episodes of their series and shifting the time slots of two other shows, The Hollywood Reporter said. “Pushing Daisies” and “Dirty Sexy Money,” holdovers from last year’s strike-shortened season, as well as “Eli Stone,” which had its debut as a midseason replacement in January, will finish the episodes originally comissioned by ABC, which has not officially canceled them. Also in January, the crime drama “Life on Mars” will move to Wednesday night after “Lost,” and “Private Practice” will inherit the Thursday-night slot following “Grey’s Anatomy,” from which it was spun off.
